      TECHNICAL 
      NOTES      		 The following pages are written in german, but we worked hard at an english version! (how hard this work was, you can divine here...[smiley])

      You need a minimum of 256 colours and 800x600 to get the optimal results, 1024x768 is possible (on a 17 '' screen), too. At higher resolutions, you'll need a microscope or a very big monitor (or a beamer). At lower resolution, the menu frame is cut off. Tested with Netscape (3, 4), but I hope, the framed version is shown correctly in MS-IE and Netscape-Browsers.

      VERSION      		 If you don't want frames, you got it by clicking here. In both versions, navigation is possible... but the framed is nicer and gives you a JavaScript-MIDI-Player with groove-examples to listen while you read the site.

      • Text, (including the worst english the world ever had seen), by HikE, partially after reading lots of literature cited in the end of the "more links" page.
      • Rhythm patterns from many sources that use and cite each other in a funny circle. Locating the origin is mostly impossible. Some Samba cracks can do so, but not me... many patterns were taken from hand-written copies.

      PAGE DURATION This site was made 1998-2004, with slightly changes in the following years. The webmaster wanted to present the percussion group SambaNaNa, and dreamt of partticipation and input from other group members. the new page, as linked abobe, is a "wiki" system, maybe, more members would use a wiki thing, than putting text to the webmaster of a "static html" page. I hope so ;-) [definitive end of this project: 25.1.2011]
