Takeover is a turnbased strategy board game for two players.
It could be described as a cross between Chess and Checkers.

Each player starts with one "Leader" and six "Unit" pieces,
centered around its own base, that has to be protected.

The goal of the game is to "takeover" the enemy base.
The "Leader" piece is the most powerfull piece on the field.
Only this piece can protect its own base,
takeover enemy units and the enemy base.

Notes

The game was written in python using pygame as a base.
It uses piece sprites from Reiner "Tiles" Prokein.

In this version the game can be played with 2 players on the same pc!
The CPU AI is pretty useless in its current state.
