| About myself
Born 1964 in Mannheim, Gemany I spent my childhood in Turkey, Afghanistan
and Ghana and returned to Germany in 1980. After finishing highschool
I studied Psychology at the Universities of Mainz, Marburg and Berlin
(all Germany). From 1995 to 1998 I engaged in a training of Integrative
Gestalt- and Bodytherapy at the TIB (Therapeutisches Institut Berlin).
From 2003 to 2006 I was trained to be a Somatic Experiencing®
Practitioner (Traumatherapist).
I have working experiences as Family and Case Manager, in drugs
councelling as well as in teaching health management. My personal
and professional life has provided me with firsthand experiences
of caring for terminally ill and dying people which I have found
to be enriching and valuable. Coping with stress and developing
relaxation skills have also been topics of my interest. My spiritual
searches have led me, among others, to exploring the many different
kinds of meditation and the (buddhist) training of attentiveness.
I have been working as a self-employed therapist treating adult
patients in my own practice since 1998. I moved to Dresden in January
2006. I possess the certificate necessary in Germany to engage in
the art of healing (Heilerlaubnis nach dem Heilpraktikergesetz).
