MCCARTHY McCarthy were formed in 1984 by Malcolm Eden (guitar, vocals, lyrics), Tim Gane (guitars), Gary Baker (drums) and John Williamson (bass). Later Laetitia Sadier joined the band. After the release of their first self-financed single they signed to Pink Label, later to September Records on which they released their debut album 'I Am A Wallet'.
