Story

Being born in the suburbs of Munich, Germany, Tim is sub ether radio's only native Bavarian (fortunately, his musical influence isn't limited to brass bands). It was because of Metallica's Lars Ulrich that Tim grabbed the drum sticks. He started drumming in his school's big band with whom he played his first concert ever and even ended up touring Poland. In order to enrich his creativity, he joined the balladeer Lyra Bavarica and collected his first studio experience in 1994. Together with Bonustrack and the Triple-T Trio, Tim made further rock and blues performances in Southern Bavaria. During his intercultural studies in Scotland he discovered his passion for Latin American music at a Salsa Celtica gig in Edinburgh. Being highly infected, Tim even started attending and giving Salsa classes and is therefore also known as "El Timburon". Shortly before meeting Brandon, Tony and Billy, another infection caught him: Arabian music. The source of the virus can be clearly identified as Sting's "Desert Rose". Recently, he and his musical passion moved eastwards to Russia. One of the reasons was Wladimir Kaminer's and Yuriy Gurzhy's Russendisko. Only god knows what is coming next ...
