The Universe has entrusted the Legacy of Funk Music into the Hands of the Funk Trust !
This musical group consisting of : seven musicians and two singers brings down the house
with the revival of some of the greatest Funk and Soul songs ever written.
The Berlin based group began their public appearances in 2003 and already have gained
a following of enthusiastic Fans.
On Keyboard Andreas Brinkmann, delivering creative improvisations with his funky Fingers.
On Bass Mr. Mike Parker, providing the sure foundation that Funk requires
along with Micky Bister on Drums.
For sure rhythm is gonna get you with the Guitar playing of Michael Scheidemann who plays
without inhibition and a lots of Soul.
There are several reed instruments played by the Hornsection to ensure the Funk.
On Trumpet Steffen Zimmer and Lars Mensching.
On Alto, Soprano and Tenorsax Diana Schmitz.
On Baritone sax and Flute Detlef Skambraks.
On Vocals the fabulous singer and songwriter Nastassja Nass.
The featured Singer Alfonso Irby embellishes the Funk and Soul with the authentic sound of
his vocal contribution. He also plays percussion, with a groovy feel, enhancing the complete sound of the Funk Trust.
The Funk Trust is currently working on their upcoming CD witch should be completed this
Year 2004 and released the beginning of 2005!
