Stellar Sector Generator

The Stellar Sector Generator is mainly intended as a star system generator for Sci-Fi RPG using (for the most part) scientific sound formulae. It is written in Rexx and can run on any platform for which ooRexx is available (currently Microsoft® Windows®, Linux®, and SUN Solaris®). It also still runs on OS/2 Rexx if you use the RxMath library from the Rexx Math Bumper Pack which can be obtained on Patrick TJ McPhee's page.

The program was originally written as a script for OS/2 Rexx to be used in a MegaTraveller campaign, but has grown by leaps and bounds ever since. Now it sports the following highlights:

Some of the formulae are derived from accrete by Stephen H. Dole, but for the most part, they are lifted from various scientific articles and supplemented by some RPG tables and good reasoning.
