What does this package provide?
You want to link your Atari (Mega) ST/TT/STE/Falcon or Milan to an ethernet network and are looking for hardware and software? Here is another solution!
Prerequisites:
- An Atari (Mega) ST/TT/STE/Falcon compatible machine with either Cartridge Port (ROM port) or ACSI-port or a Milan machine equipped with standard ISA slots
- STing or MagiCNet or MINTNet networking software
- A standard NE2000 networking card for the ISA bus as is used with PCs
This package contains a set of circuit schematics and driver software including source code. Both can be used under the GNU Public License. Please do read the file COPYING.TXT.
Adapter hardware comes in two flavours:
- The ROM port (Cartridge port) adapter hardware I co-designed with Lyndon Amsdon. This adapter is called EtherNEC. It is also produced and offered by Lyndon Amsdon: Email: bindon
