During the time when in the neighboring Siwenna Sector the Empire fought its epic struggle against the PdI , the Aldebaran Sector was only sparsely populated . About 15 human colonies were the only sign of civilisation in the whole sector , except of some trade posts of Independent Merchants and some Imperial watch stations . Until today there has no dominant system developed in the Aldebaran sector , as the planets form a collective union now , there often just referred to as " The Cluster " .

The Aldebaran Sector Cluster is politically a parliamentary monarchy , in which the power lies with the parliament and the cabinet .

About 3200 G.E. , refugees from the devastated Siwenna sector sought shelter and new homes in the Aldebaran Sector .

Important planets of the emerging sector turned out to be :
