The Arctica Mission was conceived in 12059 G.E. after the restoration of Emperor Agis XIV to the throne and started in 12078 G. E ( year 10 F.E ) . The Expedition lost three of its four escort cruisers in a supernova outburst of Star Serpens 1138 in 12080 G.E. ) and the scientific and supply ships had to make an emergency landing , caused by severe hyper spatial storms on an E class Planet , which the Expedition leader had the honour to name . 3 further planets were colonized in the next forty years . The problem was a diminished supply of Spatial Jump Crystals , of which we only recently found a source on Planet Thator VI

Politics : Because of the problems the Expedition encountered , our community was reorganized according to Ruellian principles , i.e., we are democratic and the Faufreluches ( the Imperial class system ) was abandoned for reasons of practicability and the thoroughly high scientific and educational standards of our community .
