After 71 years of war , the power of the PDI's was broken .

Factor V , Nevis - Latan committed suicide in captivity before he could be interrogated . He died of a sudden , unexplainable major cerebral stroke . Factors VII , Regnal - Orton , Factor VI , Toser - Ban , Factor IV , Miras - Etrin , Factor III ,  Proth Meyhet and Factor II , Trinar Molat were killed in the Supernova Catastrophe .

 Factor I disappeared without trace and for  over a hundred years every law - enforcement officer in the Galaxy dreamt of finding and arresting him .

Not before 3433 G. E. , newfound documents discovered her identity as Mirona Thetin  , disguised in the later years of the Tamanium as Tamraat of the Sylvain System ( although it is quite possible that this was just one of many identities ) . .Below is the only existing picture of her  ,  a reproduction from early times on Lemuria before the PdI 's takeover , when she was in the disguise of the Sector Secretary to the Emperor . Her new identity is still a mystery of possible Galactic importance and her whereabouts are still discussed . It has been established that by the fall of the Tamanium she had been 967 years of age . many think she may be alive yet .

The war totally ravaged the Siwanna sector ,  leaving only small human communities behind , without contact to the Empire . Exploiting planetary resources and rebuilding proved therefore exceptionally hard in the future .

In the interregnum between 3000 G.E. and 12000. G.E. , the Empire turned away from the area where their greatest threat has been .The greatest problem for the left over populations was the loss of contact and trade and resulting from this fact , the technological development stagnated . On the communication sector , particularly the lack of hyperspatial crystals Cetunite, which always had to be imported from the Empire , proved to be crucial . Natural resources were abundant but ineffectively exploited . The arrival of the Arctica mission in 12080 G.E. proved to be the turning point , as on a planet in the Idinyphe system four rich natural crystal mountains were discovered . Following this discovery , the old trade routes to the Aldebaran Sector were repopulated .

In the years around 11000 G.E. the highest developed planets of both sectors formed a new defense and government union , the Traan Coalition , named after the legendary founder of the first colony in the Sector , Aventian van Traan ( Lemuria III , between 350 and 390 G.E.) . About a hundred years later , together with some newly colonized planets , the USO was founded and the administrative center Alpirine and the military HQ ( Traan Center ) were established , around the year 10 F.E. . The Sector Governmental centers Idinyphe and Sarabande share since then the responsibility for the East - and Westside of the Galaxy .
