US Navy Dive Tables for No-Decompression Air Dives,

The tables were taken from the US Navy Dive Manual and are in a pdf document format. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view this file. If you do not have it, it can be downloaded here.

I'm not going to explain how to use dive tables as this should be learned, along with the other aspects of diving, in a proper course. Why dive tables are needed is explained in the physics section (Henry's Law).

I've written up a Java Script program that will compute your residual nitrogen time as well as your adjusted bottom time for a second dive. This program is based on the Navy Dive Tables. As I haven't been able to thoroughly test it, it shouldn't be used as a stand alone in the planning of subsequent dives. You should always consult your tables as a cross reference when using the program.

The surface interval as well as the times for the dives must be given in minutes (i.e. 1 hour and 30 minutes must be entered as 90 and not 1:30)! Since the Dive Table Computer only computes no-decompression dives, the entered total time of the first dive should not exceed the following no-decompression limits:

depth in feet time in minutes
40 200
50 100
60 60
70 50
80 40
90 30
100 25
110 20
120 15
130 10
140 10
