* TOTAL VERLUST -"s/t" LP: When I flipped through the pages of the integrated brochure and saw the photo of the bass player/singer who’s wearing a TRAGEDY t-shirt, immediately I spoke to myself (I was alone at home): "How entertaining! Another band from Germoney which most probably pierces the silence like clones of HIS HERO IS GONE…". I tossed the vinyl onto my turntable and while I listened to the 1st. tune, I thought "Ey, this ditty easily could have been on the CANALTERROR "Zu spät" LP!"!! Man, I even went that far and pulled out the CANALTERROR LP in order to be sure to 100% that TOTAL VERLUST didn’t cover them without giving any credits… Of course, I knew before that "D.e.p.p." isn’t from CANALTERROR, so take it easy. Speaking about the entire album: To me, TOTAL VERLUST perform a blend of massive elements of old German punk which is mixed up with a very few hardcore influences. I you think this description doesn’t read that interesting, do yourself a favor and purchase this puppy cuz it delivers nothing but quicker, melodic plus driving punk with rough, but catchy singing parts! Whoa, even I still have a truckload of records I didn’t heed until now, I played this jewel at least 5 times in a row! Unfortunately no more than 500 copies exist, so don’t delay!!

Aus Schönebeck bei Magdeburg stammen TOTALVERLUST u. haben mit dieser LP ein Wahnsinnsdebüt hingelegt. Ich bin schier begeistert. Hammergeiler HC-Punk mit deutschen Texten, der meiner Meinung nach stark in Richtung RAWSIDE u. VORKRIEGSJUGEND geht. Zur sehr geilen Mucke, die übrigens sehr gute Studioqualität aufweist, gibt es ausserdem noch ein absolut fein aufgemachtes 12-seitiges A4-Beiheft, in welchem die Texte der Band 1A layouttechnisch präsentiert werden. Feine Sache ! Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall mal beide Ohren reinhängen.
